Born in Chennai in 1971 as Anandan Sivamani, he started drumming at the age of 7,and started his career when he was 11 years old. Zakir Hussain who had invited him to share the stage with him for many fusion concerts has appreciated his talent. Sivamani is right now in South Africa cheering Chennai Super Kings in the IPL2.There also he has the spectators, dance to his drum beats.
